Tony is the all time trooper, still sounds great even with his health challenges. Gaga is a massive talent, she's a legit jazz singer on top of everything else she can do. Her phrasing and tone here are exactly what the song requires.

To say this is a historic recording, is at least an understatement. My God, what a legend, Mr. Bennett still sings with perfect timing despite his age and his health issues. And Mrs. Gaga, well aware of her responsibility, worthily carries on the legacy of Jazz music with such a dynamic temperament and affection. Fantastic arrangement and sax solo by the way. This is just my experience and I really hope people won't take this in the wrong way: when Lady Gaga released Just Dance back in 2008 I thought she was very refreshing, I liked her a lot. Then, Poker Face came out and my GaGa fever officialy started. Throughout the entire the fame/the fame monster/born this way era (more specifically until Judas video came out) I was "obsessed" with Lady Gaga and her art & music. I still remember 2008-2011 as the GaGa years, I went to Milano for her The Fame Monster ball Tour, ecc. But then, when The edge of glory video came out, something changed, I slowly started to drift away from Lady Gaga. I still liked her, I followed her during artpop, cheek to cheek, AHS Hotel (that I didn't like back then), Joanne, AHS roanoak, her Netflix documentary, a star is born but something was off to me. She was still there but I didn't feel such a connection anymore. But in the end, Chromatica was released during the pandemic, I was living a very hard time and trust me, everything clicked again, suddenly that connection that I used to feel came as strong as It was in the very beginning. Of course now in my early 30sy my way to approach to an artist that I really love compared to my early 20s has changed. But the point is now I am adoring everything she is doing, I finally understood artpop and Joanne, rewatched AHS hotel and a star Is Born and found them amazing. It is weird though because I feel a little sad about those years where I lost connection with her, it felt like when two former best friends grow apart but now I have reconciled with her and her art. Chromatica meant so much to me, I just crazily loved dawn of Chromatica, can't wait for the tour next year that I am planning to attend, I use Voce Viva as my perfume everyday, I am loving the love for sale project and I will definitely go to watch House of Gucci in November.

Saw the interview on 60 Minutes last night and fell in love again with the tender kindness you showed to Mr. Tony Bennett when you walked on the stage at Radio City.
